It would be easier to note increases or decreases in metrics by allowing for a solid or dotted line to be set horizontally across the Metrics main chart axis. You already have the metrics preset to the right and left of each chart, depending on how many metrics are being measured.
While manual vertical lines would also be handy, utilizing annotations temporarily can perform this task.
You can cross reference when a particular date shows an increase or decrease in metrics, and then be able to prove over time a sustained number over-or-under the set horizontal line.
