Compare improvements for large sets

Love the comparability of pages but it feels like it can be optimized a bit more for large comparison sets. Primarily improvements for colors and the adding of pages.

Current page colors:

  1. Colors repeat making pages non-unique in the charts
  2. Cannot change a pages color

Desired page colors:

  1. Expanded color palette for unique colors for pages
  2. Able to change a pages color from a available selections or full custom

This would be helpful to use brand or close to brand colors for a competitor comparison. Also would help to the user color code page types by being able to match page colors across projects.

Current adding a page:

  1. The only filter options are for projects
  2. After a page is selected the modal is closed

Desired adding a page:

  1. To have additional filter options for desktop or mobile and the tags from the selected project
  2. Ability to select multiple pages from the selected project

This would be help speedup comparison creation.

Hey Jacob, thanks a lot for taking the time to provide detailed feedback.

You're right that the Compare feature currently doesn't work well for a large number of pages – I'm hoping to improve that in the next overhaul of the Compare functionality.

For now I've deployed a larger list of colors, so that they no longer repeat.

Regarding adding pages, you can use the search filter to enter for example "mobile" and if there are less than 15 results it will show an "Add all" option.
